6 – Aquarius
An Aquarius is always thinking about their next big project or achievement. They are quite distant most of the time, and this makes it easier for them to miss social cues. As they are in their own heads most of the time, they know themselves well – but when interacting with others, they might miss a thing or two.
Jill Loftis, an astrologer and founder of Nuit Astrology, says that an Aquarius’ indifferent nature can leave them completely in the dark about what people are thinking or feeling. These air signs are perfectly fine in their own little bubbles.
5 – Libra
Libras love making other people happy, but they tend to get too wrapped up in what others need. Because of this, they sometimes don’t know what’s going on around them. “They can’t see the forest for the trees,” says Tara Bennet, an astrologer and spiritual coach at Mediumchat.
Like Aquarius, Libra usually focuses on the bigger picture more than anything else: it’s all about what they can do next. “They ignore the small print and overlook what is obvious to others,” Bennet says. Forgetfulness is a given with Libra, and you have to accept that some things will completely fly over their heads. But make sure to inform them if they miss something – they don’t take kindly to being left out.

Aries operates independently and prefers to keep it that way. They don’t like to pay attention to small details and invoke chaos if something gets in the way of their goals. Rebecca Schmidt, an astrologer from Trust the Effing Process, describes them as passionate fire signs that can be a bit reckless and immature. “This causes them to ignore other people’s feelings, plans, or ideas,” she says.
Aries thinks very highly of itself – which means that other people are easily forgotten. They also don’t have time to consider all the consequences of their actions, so things may be blowing up and it’s likely they won’t notice.

Sagittarians love to get involved in life’s adventures. They certainly don’t look before they leap and are always planning their next crazy experience – even when they’re still in the middle of one.
“They can be seen as clueless, as they often have their heads in the clouds,” Schmidt says. They love to learn, but they get ahead of themselves which makes them forget what’s happening around them. Being aware of things in real-time probably won’t happen often and, while they love to explore and discover new concepts, they may end up missing life’s smaller moments.

Geminis have a deep desire to learn new things and are naturally curious. However, they get easily distracted and Bennet says their duality limits their focus. They are quick thinkers, which can be good in certain scenarios, but a Gemini’s recklessness can also make them seem quite clueless and disconnected.
“When you’re constantly changing your mind, you never fully understand yourself or the things around you,” Bennet says. “Their perception may be off, as they never stick to one opinion or idea for very long.” Fortunately, their ability to quickly adapt to various situations helps balance these air signs, or they would never be able to keep up.
1 – Pisces
Pisces is easily the most clueless zodiac sign – thanks to their dissociation and daydreaming tendencies. Loftis says these water signs simply weren’t made for this realm.
While they are naturally empathetic and understanding, these Pisces often don’t notice what people are saying or doing because they’re not paying attention. “Keeping up with day-to-day things, like car keys or deadlines, can be a struggle,” Loftis says.
Although a Piscean’s emotional intelligence is unparalleled, they may not be on the same page as everyone else. If they manage to stay grounded, they might be a bit more aware of their surroundings.
