Believe it or not, there are a few zodiac signs that are naturally lazy, so if this sounds like you, you might be one of these three signs.
Just because you fall under one of these signs doesn’t mean you lack ambition or motivation.
According to astrologer Brandyn Lee (also known as @brandynlee1 on TikTok), these signs have earned the title of the laziest zodiac signs because they refuse to follow a routine, enjoy delegating tasks to others, or avoid leaving home as much as possible.
That being said, their drive manifests in other ways, such as traveling and taking care of others, which means there’s no reason to be ashamed of your sun sign.
So, the next time someone calls you lazy, you can blame it on your zodiac alignment—if you belong to one of these three signs, of course.
Libra (September 23 to October 22)
Libras are ruled by Venus, which governs all things beauty, money, and love, and that’s why, in Lee’s words, “Libras just weren’t put on this Earth to work.” Well, except maybe Kim Kardashian.
“Libras tend to choose tasks that are easy and enjoyable for them,” the astrologer shares. “Laziness can work in Libras’ favor sometimes because they can have other people do the task at hand or delegate to ease the workload.” It’s Libra’s world, and we all just live in it.
Cancer (June 21 to July 22)
Since Cancers are such homebodies, getting the cardinal sign to leave the comfort of their shell can be tricky. As the caregiver of the zodiac, you probably wouldn’t consider Cancer one of the laziest zodiac signs, but that’s because your interpretation of the word is likely different from theirs.
“Their laziness often stems from their anxious, worrywart nature, which can paralyze them altogether,” Lee says. “Cancers are also prone to overthinking and feeling overwhelmed, which further slows down the process.”
Sagittarius (November 22 to December 21)
When you think of a lazy person, an adventurer isn’t exactly what comes to mind, but Lee swears their free-spirited personality is exactly what makes Sagittarians lazy.
“To be hardworking, it takes commitment (Sagittarians have a fear of commitment), dedication (not big fans of routines), and being available to show up (they don’t want to do that every day),” the astrologer explains. “All of these factors will make a Sagittarius feel confined, which is a surefire way to turn them off from any undertaking.
They want to remain free spirits doing things on their own time and at their own pace.” I’d feel the same way if I were busy traveling the world.
